It was a beautiful sunset. I just love watching the sky and  making pictures; amazing how its always changing

These photos are from Ilhabela (an island near Sao Paulo) where we usually stay on weekends. We had a walk there on the center, a very nice place with a lot of small nice stores and street vendors with local hand made accessorizes. I always find something interesting there. Like these lather  bracelets on the pictures.

Colonial blue

This look was inspired by the brazilian culture, a northeastern headband with accessorizes from different flea markets.  I had an idea in my head of where I wanted to take these pictures: a beautiful colonial white and blue house by the beach... and we suddenly found it!...that exact place!

Samba no pé!

Heeey guys!
Today is officially the first day of Carnaval! As you might know it's huge here in Brazil; all samba schools prepare the whole year just for one day...so you can imagine how intense the day is! About two weeks before carnaval all the main schools of samba have open rehearsals and everybody can come and watch and dance. They say that it's even better than in Carnaval since everyone is just as passionate but relaxed. For the first time i went to see one of the escolas de samba here in Sao Paulo, and i really loved it! The experience i had was just unforgettable; the energy they have is just amazing and the music enthralls you; it's impossible not to dance!  In Brazil the expression "samba no pé" means samba in the feet, as if your feet dance on their own and almost without control, that was certainly true with me! :)  It's actually really difficult to describe, you just have to come and see for yourself!
This campaign I made last year for touristic company in Brazil, goes quite well!:)

And below some pictures of the Brazilian carnaval:

Here is an interesting makeup for  carnaval; its a work i did for a brazilian magazine Corpo a Corpo
with Celso Kamura, a renowned stylist here in Brazil.

Bom Carnaval pra tudo mundo!

Made in Bahia

Here are some more photos that were made in Bahia by this amazing old church.
For this look i was inspired by the baiana's clothes style. Usually they wear white cloths, because it's very hot there, and turban to protect the hair from the sun. It's a typical style you only see in Bahia-Brazil! Their look is always very bright and festively. Love it!

Have a nice weekend darlings!
I'm  going to spend mine at the beach; gonna celebrate my birthday wich was yesterday, eeeeeeeeii! :)

Moda de praia #4

One more...
Wearing Betsey Johnson sunglasses, Liquido swimsuit, Conceito bracelet, earrings bought in a Brazilian market and hand made skirt!  For those wondering, this kind of skirt is very easy to make, all you need is chiffon fabric and elastic.
It's a creative and very cheap variant.  Everybody can do it. You can choose any color, like this bright yellow, perfect for summer and beachwear!

Just started my working week and I'm looking at these pictures, to make things worse it's 35 degrees  outside.  Can't wait to get back in the beach!

Moda de praia #3

Blue beach hat; Lilly Pulitzer sunglasses; tunic bought in Cyprus.

Me and my monkey boyfriend;)
